GRS
The GRS (Global Recycled Standard) is an international, voluntary, complete product standard that specifies the requirements for recycled ingredients, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restraints. It concerns the processing, production, packaging, labeling and distribution of all products containing at least 20% recycled material. Its aims to increase the use of recycled materials in products. Koza Carpet produces products within the scope of GRS.
OEKO-TEX STANDART 100
OEKO-TEX® is the global standard for the quality of raw, semi-finished and finished products and accessories used in all production stages of textiles since 1992. Oeko-Tex's Standard 100 aims to make it clear to consumers that labeled textiles have passed laboratory tests for a wide range of harmful substances and that the content of these substances remains below the limit values set by the Oeko-Tex Association. Koza Carpet produces OEKO-TEX certified products.
Amfori BSCI
Amfori BSCI was established by amfori in 2003 with the aim of improving the social performance of global supply chains. The amfori BSCI Code of Conduct, which includes 11 basic principles, is based on the labor standards of the International Labor Organization, the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights and other important international and national regulations in the field of human rights. Through independent auditors, producers' compliance with the values and principles of the amfori BSCI Code of Conduct is evaluated. Koza Carpet is an Amfori BSCI member manufacturer that undergoes regular social compliance audits.
SEDEX / SMETA
SEDEX is one of the most important ethical trade membership organizations in the world. It aims to improve working conditions in global supply chains socially, environmentally and financially. It encourages supplier companies to create a sustainable business environment, increase environmental awareness, and comply with social justice principles. SMETA is SEDEX's social audit methodology and provides companies with information on supplier performance by evaluating working conditions in their supply chains. Koza Carpet is a SEDEX member organization that has undergone SMETA audits.
SCAN
SCAN is a single agreed security audit and sharing platform, established by many industry leaders in September 2014, that allows importers to conduct and evaluate CTPAT compliant supplier and factory safety audits. The Supplier Compliance Audit Network (SCAN) is intended as an audit sharing platform that will help increase audit consistency, reduce audit costs, and reduce audit frequency while maintaining confidentiality. Koza Carpet is a member of SCAN.
Higg FSLM (SLCP)
Higg FSLM has adopted the SLCP (Social Cohesion Project) assessment, which aims to reduce the audit burden of firms. Higg FSLM is not an audit but a verification system. Consumers demand transparency in terms of working conditions, the rights of individuals working at every stage of the chain, and all social compliance issues. Koza Carpet Higg is an organization that has passed FSLM verification.
