About Us

At Koza Halı weaving the finest carpets is more than a craft—it’s a family legacy. Today, under the leadership of its fourth generation, Koza stands as a globally recognized brand with deep roots in the local textile industry and a long-standing commitment to innovation and quality.

Our journey began in the 1960s with the production of three-rapier kilims. This early step laid the foundation for our continuous investment in research and development. In the 1970s, we expanded into modern dyeing techniques and began producing worsted and semi-worsted yarns, which paved the way for our transition into carpet manufacturing in the 1980s. Our first pile-drop carpet was produced using high-bulk acrylic yarn developed in-house.

With a consistent focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology, Koza grew rapidly yet steadily. By the early 2000s, we were recognized as one of the most technologically advanced companies in the industry—a position that translated into leadership in export volumes as well.

The year 2004 marked a turning point in our innovation journey, with the launch of our first flat-woven carpet. Since then, Koza has led the way with a number of industry firsts in Turkey, including the production of chenille carpets, long-pile (shaggy) carpets, outdoor carpets, and zero-pile designs.

During our brand transformation, we adopted the name "KOZA", which means "cocoon" in Turkish—symbolizing silk, one of the most precious raw materials in carpet making. Just like a cocoon transforms a caterpillar into a butterfly, our brand evolution reflects our transformation into a stronger, more institutional, and globally competitive company.

Today, Koza Halı is one of the leading producers of flat-woven indoor and outdoor carpets. With our elegant and refined designs, we aim to enrich living spaces with style and sophistication. Backed by strong production capabilities, an extensive sales network, and an innovative vision, Koza continues to be a prominent name in both local and global markets.
